Background
Ten years ago, my husband and I chose Iowa as the place to build our life and raise our young family. Having grown up in the Midwest, we felt an instant connection to Iowa’s unique charm, and it quickly became our home.
Raised with strong biblical and conservative values, public service has always been close to my heart. My parents exemplified this through their volunteer work with our local fire department, and my extended family— aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents—modeled selflessness and community dedication from my earliest years.
Lifestyle
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Tourism and Business Management from Purdue University, my husband and I initially worked in restaurant, hotel, and retail management. We later shifted paths: my husband has since then completed the apprenticeship through IBEW Local 55, where he continues to provide for our family as a Journeyman Lineman, while I embraced my dream of being a stay-at-home wife and mother during our children’s early years.
Why
Everything changed when our children entered school. The experience fell far short of my expectations, as parents with certain beliefs were marginalized within the public school system. The pandemic was a turning point, revealing overreach and the prioritization of institutional agendas over parental authority. I could no longer stay silent.
In 2021, I ran for the local Board of Directors. That campaign opened my eyes to radically intense opposition—lies, verbal attacks, sabotage, and vandalism—from those unsettled by an unapologetic Christian mother standing firm. Yet, it only strengthened my resolve.
Hope
With courage rooted in faith, I founded an organization to unite teachers, parents, and community members in advocating for truth. Our mission is to fight for America’s future by empowering parents to defend their rights at every level of government.
What began as a mother’s instinct to protect her children grew into a broader calling. I became deeply involved in the local Republican Party, serving on committees for Election Integrity, Voter Engagement, Fundraising, and the Advisory Committee, which I particularly enjoyed. I was elected as an Alternate Delegate for the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee—an unforgettable experience! Most recently, the Linn County GOP elected me to represent them on Iowa’s 2nd District Executive Committee, where I was then seated as Chairwoman.
I remain committed to promoting limited government, strengthening parental rights, advancing common-sense policies, and electing principled leaders, wherever my journey leads.
